Jessye DeSilva Releases NEW SINGLE “Jackals” for Trans Awareness Month

Jessye DeSilva is entering her rage era. The singer songwriter refuses to remain quiet or to make herself small for the comfort of the world around her. Following the release of her shimmering pop/rock opus “Glitter Up the Dark,” the Boston-based artist is hard at work in the studio creating her next album: a snarling, 90s-inspired Alt Rock meditation on feminine rage.

For Transgender Awareness month this November, Jessye and her band will release the new single “Jackals.” Born of righteous rage and roaring electric guitars, her latest song (produced by Alex Calabrese) is a primal scream directed at TERFs and all those who would throw Trans people to the wolves for their own comfort or political expediency.

Jessye and her band will celebrate the release of “Jackals” with a Lizard Lounge (Cambridge, MA) show on November 5, 2026 with special guest Adi Sun opening.
